I don't value TEs very highly. I don't see Shiancoe as much of an upgrade to John Carlson, so it would probably be hard to work anything out. You'd be needing to look at the lower part of my bench to get me interested.

I have the Vikes TE up for trade . I know you like him Derek. Offers?

Dispute away here! Or at me. But I too am unhappy with them. I'm thinking about making RBs worth 20, WRs worth 30 and ranking accordingly. I've used so many methods of preseason ranking in the past, some are good, some are bad. I'll put something more up or fix the current soon.

Where can I dispute these preseason rankings? lol

Ya know K-State lover, there were 12 teams in this draft, so a ton of players were taken. So I went with Maclin and Heyward-Bey for the possible rookie breakout. I didn't feel like I needed immediate help on the bench. So what are ya gonna do?

Posted by soonernation on Tue 25th August 2009 7.00PM

The guy with Orton and Cassel is going to be terrible.

Worst pick was Darrius Heyward-Bey??? I havent seen that guy drafted in any other draft other than yours. Derek M, I love you man, but what were you thinking??? You know Jordy Nelson was still around, should have took him. He'll be golden this year.

I didnt take place in this draft, but I gotta tell the guy who took back to back WR's with his first 2 picks, your crazy!!! But those backs could make you look like a mastermind if they pan out.

Quarterbacks are given too much credit!

I think the curse gains fuel because of the tendency to split the backfield. Even if the carries aren't reduced because of wear and tear, they are sometimes reduced simply because the team splits the backfield the following year. Maybe Norwood sees more action quick this season.

Actually there were quite a few exceptions. Eric dickerson , Emmitt Smith, LT, John Riggins, more here if you are interested http://views.washingtonpost.com/theleague/smarterstats/2008/10/the-curse-of-370.html Also it is 370 carries and not 375. Did you know that Adrian Peterson carried 363 times last year which means he only carried .81 times less a game than Turner. If you count the playoffs AP carried 383 times in total.

Posted by Anonymous User on Wed 19th August 2009 1.50AM

Only because besides LT, nearly every single RB has been affected by it :P

Posted by Anonymous User on Tue 18th August 2009 1.18PM

ah the 375 curse. That's a flawed statistical study.

Posted by Anonymous User on Tue 18th August 2009 12.29PM

teh 375 carry curse yo!

Posted by Anonymous User on Tue 18th August 2009 3.52AM

Why??

Posted by Anonymous User on Mon 17th August 2009 11.10PM

Waiman you're going to regret taking Michael Turner #1!
